"The Honey Seller"

It is the middle of the night, and I am
a tourist who cannot sleep. I stumble across this man in the old
courtyard of a Palace that is just down the road from my Hotel.
He is selling honey! After a while, I realize that the sweet smelling
stuff is a metaphor for the woman on the other side of the courtyard,
barely visible under the red light.
"No money, no honey, mister
..you wanna some??"
The woman comes out of the shadows, and beckons me. I decline. The
man is very annoyed, and demonstrates this by throwing a stone at
the dog sleeping nearby. Wounded, the dog whimpers away, and the
honey seller turns round menacingly
...
