The Oberoi, Mauritius, is an idyllic resort nestled in the Baie aux Tortues, on the Northwest coast, reflecting a rich heritage of European, African, Indian, French and Chinese cultures.

This de luxe resort hotel is located in twenty acres of beautiful sub-tropical gardens with an impressive ocean front overlooking mountain ranges, golden beaches and turquoise seas.

The Artwork in all the villas was undertaken by UTU Artworks in Singapore.

The spectacular setting, with its historical background and emphasis on natural materials was translated into image boards, a brief, and eventually into the Ceramic tiles, plates and paper collages as shown by the examples on this page.
